Hi, my name is Sanjay Shankar and I'm from Dayton, Ohio. I'm currently a sophomore at Virginia Tech studying computer science.
My programming background began with a few courses in Python, JavaScript, and C++ back in high school. During my time at Virginia Tech, I've expanded my technical knowledge with Java, HTML/CSS, and now machine learning. For the last three years, I've had the opportunity to intern for the Air Force Research Laboratory, where I got to develop research simulations that utilize Unreal Engine, Blender modeling, and virtual reality development.
Outside of the world of programming, I love weightlifting and playing tennis. I also enjoy traveling and any outdoor activities with friends and family.
