About Me

Hello, I'm Sanjay

Hi, I'm Sanjay Shankar and I am from Dayton, Ohio. I'm currently a junior at Virginia Tech studying computer science, passionate about technology and its applications.

For the past three years, I've interned at the Air Force Research Laboratory, developing research simulations using Unreal Engine, Blender modeling, and virtual reality technologies.

At Virginia Tech, I'm an undergraduate researcher with the Hume Center for National Security and Technology, where we've modeled UAS/C-UAS interactions with real-time 3D rendering.

Currently, I have joined Lockheed Martin as an AI/ML Operations Analyst Intern where I leverage machine learning and AI to understand and improve the capabilites of Lockheed Martin's systems.

Beyond Coding

Activities

I'm passionate about staying active through tennis, hiking, and regular fitness training. These activities help me maintain balance in my life while pursuing my tech career.

Spending quality time with friends and family is incredibly important to me. I value the connections and support system that enrich my life beyond professional endeavors.
